A Friend of mine called Lyndsey is planning a trek through Peru for the charity Cancer Research UK. For this, she has a target to be sponsored for a total of £4000. She has her own web page on the Bmycharity website which can be reached here. The sponsored event is planned for the 13th to the 24th May 2007. Lyndsey is already doing what she can to get sponsored and is raising money also offline. The event will be in Peru and will cross parts of the Inca Trail heading to Macchu Picchu which is shown below.

The event is going to be really hard work with up to 10 hours of mountain treking in a day. But, its for a really worthwhile cause and any support that you could give would be gratefully appreciated. Below is a couple of other pics of the Inca Trail.
